“LAST CALL” FOR 2007 EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION
Early-bird discount pricing applies until Sunday, October 15th, 2006. Early-bird fees
are usually 15-20% lower than regular fees (not yet final and actual %’s vary by
category). Early-bird forms are available on our website or at the club house mailbox.
Completed forms can be dropped off at the Front Desk this week or faxed in or left in
the mailbox until Sunday night.

FIRST WINTER PUB NIGHT IS NOVEMBER 2 (THURSDAY!)
Mark the first Thursday of every month on your calendar! Our monthly winter pub night
is at a new location and on a new day. Come down to the Thirsty Toad 1344 Bank Street
(west side, at Riverside). Karen says, ‘Bring your Viva Las Vegas pictures to pub
night!’
COURTS #5 THROUGH #12 RECONSTRUCTION
The courts project is progressing as planned. The ultimate surface preparation and the
laying of new lines will be performed in the spring in order to be ready for 2007
Opening Day. Check out the neat images on our website.
RESULTS OF AUGUST "WELCOME PACKAGE" PROMOTION
Thank-you to the many members who introduced 100+ new visitors to the Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club using the special postcard! There was participation in all three
areas – tennis, lawn bowling and pool – and therefore, one free 2007 individual
membership won by raffle in each area. Names of winners:
Imran Syed (tennis), Rena Bottrill (lawn bowling) and Megan Doyle (pool).
