Everyone: Special Red Apron BBQ on Thursday, September 7th will replace regular café service. Tickets at the Front Desk for $15 each or the Café on day-of. Come out and meet the best National Mixed Pairs!
This week, our Lawn Bowlers are hosting the Canadian National Mixed Pairs Tournament with teams from across Canada. The Banquet and DANCE (featuring a live band) is on Friday, September 8th is open to all. Tickets at the Front Desk, $25 (or $10 for dance only).
September Doubles Classic Tournament is September 9th to 10th – Register by tomorrow (Pub Night); fee is $10 per team plus a can of unopened tennis balls. Laughs! Prizes! More information here, http://www.otlbc.com/tennis2006falldubs.htm.
Until September 15th, “Welcome Package” postcards will be available at the Front Desk for your friends and neighbours. If they visit the club (even without you!) and use the complimentary pass to play, they should write your name on the coupon and you will be entered in a draw for an individual 2007 OTLBC membership. Elvis will be in the building Saturday, September 16th to sing his best tunes – get your tickets for Viva Las Vegas and glam it up for a great closing party. Elvis at 6:30pm, followed by Red Apron Dinner and then, dancing to one of our favourite house bands, Off-Line. ($30 ticket including entertainment + dinner + dance to be purchased by September 9th).
Sunday, September 17th starting at 1:30 p.m. is the Lawn Bowling Closing Day, Members AGM & BBQ! BBQ tickets available at the Front Desk ($15 each).
Complete REBUILD of courts #5 - #12 commences September 18th to Club closing on October 9th! This major renovation requires fair weather and the week of September 18th is the latest the job can begin with high probability of completion before next season starts.
