UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS AT OTC
JUN 26 to JUN 30, 2025 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Masters Tour 200
In 2024, the OTC hosted the ITF MT100 Ottawa and received an award for achieveing outstanding player statisfaction and exceptional tournament delivery. Just recently, the 2024 ITF MT100 we hosted has also been awarded the "Event of the Year" award (News Article). We have now been upgrade to an MT200 event. OTC is proud to hos the ITF MT200 along with Tennis Centre West Ottawa (TCWO).
JUL 12 to JUL 13, 2025 ITF Beach Tennis
For the first time, OTC will be hosting the ITF Beach Tennis Tournament. Be sure to stop by and check out Dan Vila from 613BT as he plays in this tournament. OTC, with 613BT, offers Beach Tennis Match Play and Clinics from May to September. Check out all out Adult Programs, including Beach Tennis Options HERE!
JUL 29 to AUG 04, 2025 Bloomex Cup
Categorized as a 4-star tournament, The Bloomex Cup provides a meanigful competitive opportunity for U12 to U18 athletes leading up to the Junior Nationals, and an additional opportunity to gain direct entry into the Junior Nationals main draw.
AUG 09 to AUG 16, 2025 City Championships
Hosted by multiple clubs in the City of Ottawa, including the OTC, the City Championships creates an opportunity for Ottawa's best players to showcase their talent. This is an open tournament, all are encouraged to particpate.

$10 +HST per person (singles or doubles). Balls are provided.

Players must indiate their playing level according to the Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide (English / French)

This assists the Volunteer coordinator to place you in the appropriate category, INTERMEDIATE or CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Schedule

Weekdays: Games are scheduled between 5:15PM and 9:45PM
-
Weekends: Games are scheduled between 9:00AM and 6:00 PM

Inital rounds are played on Courts 13-18 (Back Courts).

Semi-final and final matches are played on Courts 10-12 (Front Courts)

Players are responsible for calls on their side of the net, and the opposing player/team must accept their decision. If there is any doubt, normal etiquette is to give the opponent the benefit of the doubt. Players should avoid replaying a point, though this is an option if both sides agree.

A Single knock-out format. There will not be any consolation rounds.

All matches(except semis, and finals) will be a pro set of first to 8 games, winning by two (2) games.

If the score reaches 7-7, a regular tiebreak is played. The winner being the first to reach 7 points, winning by 2 points.

Semi-final and final matches will be best two out of three sets.

If tied at one set each, the third set will be a “super tiebreak”, the winner is the first to reach 10 points, winning by 2 points.
